In case you didn’t know, apart from insurance, I’m totally into cooking and baking too! And guess what I’m sharing today? It’s my super-duper easy jasmine rice recipe. And yes, it’s cooked in my absolute fave Staub pot. Trust me, it’s a game-changer!
Why I Heart My Staub Pots
Before we jump into the recipe, let’s appreciate the elegance and history of Staub. This brand, a staple in kitchens across the globe, has been crafting culinary masterpieces for years. Born in Alsace, France, Staub is not just about cookware; it’s about heritage. Each piece, like my favorite 1.5-quart Petite French Oven, is a testament to their commitment to quality and culinary excellence. Where to buy?

Let’s Talk Rice and Health (Yes, They Go Together!)
Alright, rolling up our sleeves for this super simple but oh-so-yummy jasmine rice recipe. And I’m adding a twist – a teaspoon of MCT oil. It’s my secret for that extra health kick and subtle yummy flavor.
What You Need and What to Do
Ingredients
- 1 cup jasmine rice (the star of the show!)
- 1.5 cups water (just right for the perfect fluff)
- 1 teaspoon MCT oil (for that healthy zing!)

Let’s Cook
- Rinse the Rice: First things first, give your rice a good rinse. We want it nice and clean, and not too sticky.
- Mix It Up: Grab your Staub pot and throw in the rice, water, and that MCT oil. The oil’s not just healthy – it makes the rice taste awesome.
- Heat Time: Crank up the heat to low-medium (my stove setting is between number 2 and 4). Lid on, let it do its thing for 20 minutes. No peeking – it’s cooking magic time!
- Chill Time: After the timer dings, kill the heat, but keep the lid on. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Patience, my friends – it’s worth it.
- Fluff and Serve: Grab a fork, fluff it up, and serve. It’s going to look, smell, and taste amazing.
