In January 2026, Michael Kitces and the team at Kitces.com launched something the advisor community has needed for a long time: the inaugural edition of the Kitces Advisor Services Map.
We’re proud to share that Peach Insurance Services is on it from day one -one of a small group of firms listed in the Outsourced Life Insurance/Annuities category of version 1.0.
What the Services Map Is -and Why It Matters
Many advisors already know the Kitces AdvisorTech Map, which the Kitces team has maintained since 2018 to help advisors navigate a software landscape that keeps expanding.
The Advisor Services Map does the same thing for people instead of software -the firms and specialists advisors hire to actually do the work rather than to do it themselves. As Kitces puts it, technology built for a do-it-yourself approach has a fundamentally different value proposition from do-it-for-you services, and mixing the two together makes it hard for advisors to evaluate what they’re really buying.
This first edition includes nearly 300 service providers across domains like marketing, compliance, investment operations, HR, IT and cybersecurity, virtual staff support, coaching and consulting, and specialized tax and estate work.
The Problem the Map Solves
The most interesting part of the Kitces piece isn’t the map itself. It’s the explanation of why advisors have such a hard time finding good service providers in the first place.
Service businesses don’t scale the way software does. Headcount rises more or less in lockstep with client count, which caps how many advisors any one firm can take on in a given year. That makes mass marketing a poor investment for most providers -spend big, generate demand you can’t serve, and turn people away.
The result is an ecosystem full of capable firms that most advisors will never hear about. When an advisor needs help, they’re left with two options: search and hope the algorithm surfaces the right names, or ask around and hope the right person happens to answer.
Neither is a great system. The inaugural Services Map is a real step toward fixing it.
Where Peach Insurance Services Fits
Our category -outsourced life insurance and annuities -exists for a specific reason. More advisors want to bring insurance and annuity solutions to their clients, but they have no interest in becoming insurance agents to do it. That’s the whole job description for firms like ours.
For fee-only planners in particular, the need is sharper. You’ve built a practice around removing conflicts of interest. Commission-based products don’t fit that model, and neither does an insurance partner who treats you as a distribution channel.
That’s the gap Peach was built to close:
- Fee-based, commission-free annuities that fit inside a fiduciary practice
- No membership fees for planners to access our products and expertise
- Underwriting Expertise for Life, Long Term Care and Disability Insurance dubbed as your Insurance Matchmaker
- Real service and industry knowledge, not a product catalog and a phone tree
That middle point is the one we’d underline. A number of providers in this space charge advisors a membership or platform fee just for access. We don’t, and we don’t plan to. If you’re going to outsource insurance and annuities, you shouldn’t have to pay a toll before the work starts.
What Being on the Inaugural Map Means to Us
If you’ve worked with us, you know that our strength is not marketing, networking or being salespeople. We provide quality service and unparalleled results for our planners and clients. It feels good to be recognized for this.
Insurance is one of those categories advisors tend to avoid until a client asks a question they can’t sidestep. Being included in the first edition of a resource this visible means more planners will know there’s a way to handle those conversations that doesn’t compromise how they’ve built their firm.
Kitces has said the Services Map will be updated and expanded over time, the way the AdvisorTech Map has been since 2018, with new providers added as they come to the team’s attention. Plenty of firms will join it. We’re glad to be part of where it started.
It also means more advisors will find us the easy way instead of the serendipitous way -which, for a service business that grows one relationship at a time, matters more than any ad campaign we could run.
Our thanks to the Kitces team and Joe Moss of Advisor Tech Book for the work that went into building this.
Let’s Talk
If you’re a fee-only planner who’s been putting off the life, long term care, disability insurance or annuity conversation -or paying a membership fee for the privilege of having it -we’d like to hear from you.
The proof is in the peach pudding. 🍑
